RootsTech is a 3-day event held in Salt Lake City, Utah, dedicated to celebrating family and discovering family histories. With over 200 breakout sessions, an exciting lineup of celebrity speakers, and a gigantic expo hall, there’s something we’re sure you’ll love.  The Expo Hall features more than 100 companies offering products and services designed to help you discover and connect with family. Enjoy demonstrations, free swag, and the opportunity to test out the latest family history tech.

I always make sure that I plan time to spend in the expo hall. I look through the sponsors and vendor list to plan out about how much time I think I will need. Vendors this year include Ancestry, My Heritage, Roots Magic, Billion Graves, Family Chart Masters, Family Tree Magazine, and Your DNA Guide.

The expo hall is great for watching the keynote speakers if you don’t have time to get to main stage, meeting up with genealogy buddies, or just relaxing when you’ve walked more than you thought was possible. There will be live social media events and product demonstrations, virtual viewing and discussion areas, and all the latest innovations.
