NOTE: I accepted the 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks challenge headed by fellow genealogy blogger Amy Johnson Crow. The idea behind this challenge is that you will receive email prompts, a word or phrase, every week, and you find something about your research or family history to write about. Click HERE to read my first 52 Ancestors post from 2019.
This week’s prompt is favorite photo. As soon as I saw this, I knew what photo I would use. This is a photo of my family, my foundation, and some of my favorite people; my parents, my father’s brother, my siblings, and myself. What makes this my favorite photo you ask? This is my favorite photo for many reasons including the story of how this photo was taken, these are some of favorite people, this was the night I started telling my family about my family history research and the night I recieved photos of my great grandparents for the first time, and this photo makes me smile everytime I see it. I have a series on my blog, Wordless Wednesday, that features a photo. I have collected a lot of photos and plan to get even more throughout this family history journey. But no matter how many photos I have, this will always be my favorite.

I would like to do this! How do you get it to happen?
