So good to read some of the history from the Colored School, Brown High School, McCrory, Woodruff County, AR.
The Brown-Williams High School Group just completed the installation of a monument in honor of the Colored School the Summer of 2024.
it is located on IKE BROWN PARK on Brown-Williams Street.
unfortunately, we were not able to preserve any buildings from the school.Property was sold to private owners, 2 buildings torn down and the gym is being used for agricultural use.
