    1. She started out as a photographer for her first year with the newspaper. She was a reporter for six years and editor for 14 years after that. That’s one of the reasons I love pictures so much. My mom always had a camera in her hand while I was growing up capturing family and community moments.

      1. Isn’t that so true how the mothers were the recorders of the details of their children’s live from making notations in baby books to snapping pictures!
