New Year! New Look!

You may have noticed this site looks a bit different than it used to look. That’s because, after 6 years, I’ve decided to re-design the blog. You’ll still find all of the blogs I’ve posted over the years, along with a little bit of new functionality.

I hope this new look works well for you and allows you to easily read each blog, search the site, listen to the podcast, and contact us if needed.

Below is a list of changes you’ll notice.

• Homepage: The homepage is a lot cleaner and easier to read. Blogs are shown in columns and are in chronological order, from newest to oldest.
• Sidebar (New): The sidebar includes additional ways to find and read blog posts.
  • Search Box – Use this to search the site for something specific.
  • Recent Posts – Links to the 5 most recent posts will reside here.
  • Category – All posts are categorized. Some with multiple categories. You can click a category to see all blog posts related to that category. The number shown (x) lets you know how many posts are categorized.
  • Archives – All posts are archived by the year. Click on the year and all posts written during that year will show up. They will be shown in chronological order, from newest to oldest. The number shown (x) lets you know how many posts are in that year.
• Social Media Links: Links to our social media are now listed at the top of the page and easy to see. If you don’t already, we encourage you to follow us on those.
• Search: There’s a new search button at the top right of each page. It looks like a magnifying glass.

Another big change is the addition of becoming an Amazon Affiliate. This means that for any item I link to on Amazon, and you purchase that item using the link I provide, I will get a commission from that sale. This does not cost you anything extra! It’s just a way to support us in the work we’re doing and helps pay for some of the costs of maintaining this website and the podcast.

You can still like, comment, and share the blog posts as you normally would. I hope you will continue to do that.
