12 Days of Gift Ideas – Day 5

This year, Trisha and I decided to do our annual “12 days of….” posts sharing items that would make great gift ideas for the family researcher in your life. Or maybe even for yourself.

You don’t hear about Headstone Cleaning Kits that often but they could be useful for several reasons. You might just want to clean your family’s headstones because they’ve been out there for a long time. Or, maybe you found a potential family member in a cemetery but you can’t read the headstone because it’s so dirty. These are good reasons to use it.

We used a cleaner called D/2 Biological Solution. Several companies sell it but we bought ours from Atlas Preservation. Here’s the link to the kit we bought:
