The Afro American Historical and Genealogical Society has announced that the 43rd National Conference is now open for registration. This year’s conference will be virtual on October 12-15, 2022. There will be sessions on DNA, research methodologies, how to research online, how to research during slavery for both the slave and the slave owner, and how to tell your genealogy story just to name a few.  Some of genealogy’s best and brightest will be presenters including, Shelley Murphy, Leslie Anderson, Tammy Ozier, Jerome Spears, and Dean Henry. There also will be a virtual expo hall that is included with registration that will provide the opportunity to purchase items, ask product questions from vendors/sponsors and talk with book authors.
