I’ve always felt deeply connected to my family through cherished photos and memories. My official research journey didn’t begin until 2011. In these past 14 years, I have made some wonderful discoveries that I will be sharing to celebrate the holiday season.

One of the most exciting parts of my genealogy journey has been discovering old family photos. Photos of my grandparents when they were young adults have been especially exciting. I have found photos in library collections, printed in books/magazines, and tucked away in boxes while cleaning out our family homes.
Finding these old family photos also inspired my Wordless Wednesday series on blog. I share an image and let the photo tell the stories without words. Each post is a reminder that sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and preserving these images is a way to honor the lives and legacies of my family.
