52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks 2025 – Week 45: Multiple

This is one of my favorite photos because it’s a multi-generational photo. In this photo is my father, Wayman Mays, with his mother, Gladys Denson Mays, and his children Russell and Paedra Mays. Another thing I love about this photo is that there are men and women in this photo. Most multi-generational photos I have seen are only of one gender. I’m going to have to look and see what other multi-generational photos I have in my collection.
