Growing up, my family never had pets. Dogs, cats, hamsters, fish — none of them ever crossed our home. I kept this tradition alive and well in my married life as well. The only animals I want to see are at the zoo. So, it’s a good thing that the zoo is one of my husband’s favorite places to visit.

When we pick a destination for our vacation, one of the first things we do is check to see if that city has a zoo. No matter how busy our vacation itinerary is, we will always make time for the animals to watch us walk around at the zoo.
