I first participated in the 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks back in 2019. During the challenge you are given a prompt, a word or phrase, to write about that is about family history every week. In 2019 I had a journal that I would write about each prompt and would pick one prompt a month and actually write a blog to post. I completed the challenge in my journal, but I only got through August on the blog. So I decided to participate again this year.
This time around I have decided to write a blog post for each prompt this year. I’m already nervous about it. But I really want to get back to consistently blogging, and I think this challenge will help me with this. To take a little of the pressure off, these are not going to be long posts, and I’m going to incorporate photos in these prompts too because well photos are kind of my thing. I’m excited to see the prompts for this year and get to writing. So wish me luck because this is my 52 Ancestors in 52 Weeks, In the Beginning.
